Small, heart-shaped silver leaf and a white freshwater pearl adorn the delicate Twinflower ring, perfect for girls and women of all ages. Please note that freshwater pearl may contain colour variations.
JEWELRY STORY Twinflower, Linnaea borealis, is a delicate flower of lush spruce forests. The slender plant hugs the velvet moss, pushing up stems, one after another, bearing pairs of gentle bell-like flowers. The timid twinflower is the shy beauty of the Finnish forest. The beloved poem 'Nocturne' by Eino Leino (1878-1926), one of Finland's most notable writers, whispers the timeless message of summer nights in Finland, describing the scent of twinflower and shadows of water, elements of the heart's song. These lines by young Eino Leino inspired jewelry designer Kirsti Doukas, and the pearls in her Twinflower jewelry capture the essential charm of the delicate twinflower.
All Kalevala jewelry is skillfully handcrafted in Helsinki. By taking good care it will last for generations to come.
Care instructions: For all pieces of Kalevala jewelry, apart from pearl necklaces and bracelets, we recommend washing with warm water and mild soap after use, especially if the jewelry has been in contact with cosmetics (lotions, perfumes, hair spray, etc.). THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE IS A GOOD PLACE TO STORE YOUR JEWELRY. If you want to further protect your jewelry against the tarnishing effect of air impurities, you can keep it in a tightly sealed plastic bag, such as a Ziplock bag. Please note that it is not a good idea to keep your jewelry by the bathroom sink.
